This full-body treatment engages the tissues with a focused, intuitive approach based in a balance of holistic and clinical foundations. I honour simple relaxation and consider it as important as any other health objective. Techniques may involve stretching, neuromuscular techniques, deep diaphragmic breathing, and moderate to moderate-deep pressure. This Swedish experience is a flowing, engaged treatment customized according to your needs, as discussed in the intake portion of your appointment.

A customized experience blending the best of Swedish, lymphatic, and deep tissue massage for the face, head, and neck. Deeply de-stressing and expansive, this treatment can include a skilled intra-oral massage that benefits local bloodflow, decreases tension, and relieves “knots,” aches, and pains in the jaw, head, and face.
My clients report that this treatment leaves them in a state of resonant wellbeing with remarkably decreased tension - and a bonus facial “lift” effect accompanied by a rosy glow. The beautifying effects are lovely, but the lasting beauty of this treatment truly lays in its therapeutic qualities:
-Increased local blood flow supporting tissue health
-Myofascial release easing face, head, neck and shoulder tension
-Management of jaw pain, headaches, inflammation, bruxism and clenching, sinusitis, post-operative symptoms, torticollis, and other conditions of the head, face, and neck

-Swollen ankles or carpal tunnels, using lymphatic drainage

-Tight or painful hips, lower back, etc. using modified deep tissue
-Your particular symptoms or concernsPlease note: Side-lying position is used, along with pillowing techniques that support and stabilize for a cozy and secure experience.

A deeply restorative rest, this treatment uniquely addresses the nervous system and overall sense of wellbeing. Focusing on the neck, upper back, upper chest wall, arms, and cranial muscles including scalp, there is added comfort in remaining supine (facing up, laying on the back) for the entirety of the session if preferred. Pressure and technique is customized according to your needs as discussed in the intake portion of your appointment.

90 minutes: 170 + HSTA targeted, specific approach that could include 5-15 minutes of orthopaedic assessment, a short- to mid-term treatment plan, or both depending on the nature and extent of condition. Techniques may involve specific deep tissue, lymphatic and neuromuscular techniques, triggerpoint therapy, and more. This treatment is customized according to your needs as discussed in the intake portion of your appointment. I would be glad to work with you as part of your rehabilitation team, and I welcome pertinent findings, diagnoses, and suggestions from other practitioners who may be treating your area(s) of concern.

Focusing on recovery or pre-event for weekend warriors and amateur or professional athletes. Blends well with elements of Swedish , Clinical, Rehab, or Deep Tissue. A variety of manual techniques can be used to decrease delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS), and can also help you:
-Recover from training, marathon, or competition
-Increase flexibility and mobility
-Maintain tissue health and local blood flowThe sports massage is customized according to your needs, as discussed in the intake portion of your appointment. Please note: If you prefer a clothed treatment, wear a comfortable set of clothes - loose tee, shorts, tank, sports bra, etc.

QUEEN WEST TORONTO LOCATION:
All massage therapy and face treatments include a full 15 minutes of transition time to dawdle, chill, drift, dilly-dally, breathe, dream, or meditate. Eye mask, gentle sleep music, and calming essential oil is also available at no charge. As long as you have arrived to your appointment on time, you will have the full 15 minutes afterward to move slowly. If you arrive late, the remainder of the time is still yours!
Note: the 15 minutes includes dressing time.
Fell asleep? Don’t worry, there’s a gentle alarm set for you to awaken and still have time to dress and refresh!
For a deeper rest, you may add another 15 minutes for 25.00 +HST. This gives you a full 30 minutes of quiet time to enter into Nidra (or stage II non-rapid eye movement “NREM” sleep), where the mind and body can begin to move into clarity and repair. Look for “Microsleep Add-On” in the booking process.
