FREE YOUR FLOW:
A heartfelt approach to engaged therapeutic relaxation massage.
“Just relaxation. Nothing specific.”
This symposium-style workshop offers tools to develop structure and creativity in the art of the relaxation massage. Geared towards new, clinical, and spa therapists who would like to unlock fresh ideas and skills, we’ll explore flow, quality of contact, intention, and intelligent movement that can evolve and serve as a foundation over the lifetime of your practice. The content will include ways to integrate therapeutic techniques such as trigger point and neuro therapies smoothly and satisfactorily.
The content is made up of 3 parts: hands-on skills, discussion & review, and feedback.
Discussion & Review:

Principles of massage
Grounding and intention
Reading the room: on grief, caregiving, and body awareness

Music (or not?)
Hands-on skills:

The pressure spectrum: approaches to very heavy and very light

Collaborative, compact, and straightforward.
I draw from a performing arts history in music, theatre, and a diverse full-time bodywork practice that began in 2015. I have certifications and training in advanced sports massage, Lomilomi, facial and TMJ treatment, clinical skincare, and am currently in mentorship for sound meditation facilitation. I worked as an in-house body mechanics coach at Toronto Bodyworks, a prominent local Toronto clinic from 2018-2021. My treatment focus is on proprioception, sound, and more recently towards vagal nerve therapies. I have led bands, produced theatre productions, and am continuously learning through my own excellent mentors.
